TOSH Picks: Amazonian Clay Foundation by Tarte

{The Fab Mrs. Tosh}

Hello POSH Friends!

My name is Kristen Toshner, the Bestie of Lacie (her POSHness) Powell. I have always had an affinity  for beauty products of all kinds; hair, make up, skincare, nails. I have at least three of each of any product type out there (and don’t tell Mr. Tosh but I have established a secret beauty hiding place.) On top of that, I have a regime utilizing all products in my beauty artillery (I leave no lotion bottle un-pumped and never shy from returning a product that doesn’t agree with me). Here I will tell you what I am currently using and loving; a plethora of products I think you should own (and gift). I will give you first hand  advice of what you can’t live without in your beauty drawer and the best way to use it.

TOSH PICK: Amazonian Clay Foundation by Tarte

Forget Sunny + Cher, this is the best dynamic duo! Being a tinted moisturizer girl, I have to admit the word foundation somewhat scares me. Having been a fan of Tarte’s amazing Amazonian Clay items, I kept an open mind and jumped in feet first into trying their Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Foundation. Boy am I happy I did. Not only is Tarte formulated without a number of items such as Parabens , the product is amazing. Before paying too much glory to the foundation alone, I will say it would be nothing without its counter part the Airbrush Finish Bamboo Foundation Brush. The two items together pack an amazing performance. The formula adjusted to different sections of my skin. Oilier T-Zone, dryer area under the chin and it is so easily buildable I didn’t feel scared applying more in certain areas. I tried a section of applying without the brush and the brush definitely amplifies the magic of the foundation. Bottom line, if you are looking to veer off your regular tinted moisturizing path, this is a perfect route to go. Just make sure you grab the foundation AND the brush. I promise you will thank me later!
